Rick K.

One of the most exciting performers on the music scene, Rick K. has transferred that enthusiasm and "love of the music" to his ever-growing audience of fans at shows across the country. His distinct vocal style and charismatic stage presence have earned him rave reviews at major fairs, casinos, nightclubs and special events. In addition to his own headlining shows, Rick K. has appeared with major acts such as George Jones, The Temptations and Chubby Checker. Growing up in the hills of West Virginia, music runs through Rick's bloodlines, as his grandmother is an accomplished gospel and jazz pianist. His father played drums for several successful recording groups in the late fifties and early sixties. Rick started early in his teen years playing drums and singing in local country and rock n' roll bands. His love of various styles of music was enhanced by performing with school and church choirs. Rick received All State Choir honors and was voted Best Musician in his high school band. By age twenty Rick had left the drums behind and was fronting his own band, RICK K. & THE ALLNIGHTERS. This melting pot of musical tastes boiled into the high-energy rock n' roll oldies, pop, and country sounds that mark Rick's music today. Rick is a strong advocate against the danger of drugs and alcohol. The group has helped raise funds for the American Cancer Society along with numerous Federal, State and Local law enforcement agencies. Rick is married with three beautiful daughters and you can find the “K” crew at many a performance.
